Why am I posting about Black wedding vendors? Because I have been listening to Black voices in the wedding vendor community, specifically here and here say that one way white people can elevate Black wedding vendors is by referring to them. That was when I realized, it was hard for me to name any Black-owned wedding vendors in our area, which is obviously CRAZY because look at this list of wonderful humans! That was when I realized that my excuses sucked and I clearly wasn’t trying hard enough.
I encourage you to get to know these vendors! Follow them on social media, invite them to business mixers, and support their businesses!
