Win a Free Seat in my Upcoming Photography Class!

We all have that one friend that posts STUNNING photos of her children all over Instagram.

Maybe she inspired you to buy your first DSLR! You excitedly pulled it out of the box and took photos for a few days, but when your results were less-than-impressive, you shoved your camera onto a closet shelf and decided "someday" you'd learn to use it.

You LOVE to take photos of your kids on your phone, but still wish you could up your photography game and create beautiful, emotive keepsakes for your walls AND your Instagram feed. Maybe you've even felt guilt over not using your nice camera and considered selling it!

"But my camera is so confusing. My kids never hold still. I don't have a creative bone in my body!"

I've been there! For years, I swooned over other people's photos. I'm NOT a creative person and felt like taking beautiful photos was TOTALLY OUTSIDE MY REACH

I got an entry-level DSLR for my birthday in 2011. I googled and youtubed and read books and forums and blogs. I took LOTS of bad photos and some good ones.

And now, my only regret is believing the lie that I wasn't creative and could never learn to take beautiful photos

I want to help you get past those same lies. I want to help you learn to understand how your camera works and train you to capture photos of your family that you (and they!) will treasure for the rest of their lives.

March 1st Update: We're selling some SUPER cute tees/tanks as a fundraiser. In our first two hours live, we made it almost half way to our goal of 50 shirts! If you'd like one, you can purchase here ( by March 15th.

February 17th Update: $260 later, Noah and I have applied for our (VERY FIRST) passports!  It was our first big step toward our South African missions trip.

If you know Noah (my eleven-year-old son) at all, you probably know that he's a BIG saver. He understands the value of a dollar and is thoughtful about how he spends it. When he heard the amount needed for this trip, he changed his mind about going. If I'm being honest, BOTH Noah and I are still terrified of the financial commitment of an overseas missions trip. Each time I've expressed concern to a friend, they reiterate the same thing... FAITH. So, we're taking a big leap of faith and trusting that it will all fall into place. And so far, we haven't been disappointed.

I know we're both going to learn a lot on this missions trip, but even the fundraising process has already lead to so much growth for both of us. We have been touched by and are so thankful for the donations so far.

Check out the Facebook Live video below to see my mom brain hit level 100, see the family circus unfold around me (all three kids popped in on the live video!), find out what we'll be doing in South Africa, and learn how you can help.

Donate $10 or more and be entered into a drawing to win a seat at my in-person or online beginner photography class!

BIG SCARY GOAL: We have a deposit of $2,400 due by April 8th and would SO appreciate your support. I have a beginner's photography class in the works (online or in-person), which I'll be using as a fundraiser, as well.

What's a Day in the Life? How can you create one? Do you need a fancy camera? I've created a video to teach you AND a free planning guide to get you started.

Bonus: Complete the challenge by March 5th, post your favorite shots on social media (be sure to tag me!) and be entered to win a completely FREE seat in my upcoming beginner photography class for moms!
