Family Session QuestionnaIre

family lifestyle photography in springfield illinois

Before you begin, it's important for you to know that I have experience in turning life's simplest details into beauty. Please answer the following questions with thought, honesty, and without judgement of what your response will look like in photos. Your thoughtful responses are key to me capturing moments that tell your family's story accurately and with intention. Because we take an unposed, documentary-approach to our session, I make every effort to truly know your family, so this client survey will likely be more in-depth than any past posed/directed sessions you may have had. IT WILL BE WORTH IT!

Note: If you'd prefer, I am happy to go over all these questions in-person over a cup of coffee.

Let's Get Real.
Some ideas... Sunday morning breakfast, bedtime routine, picnic at the park, baking with Grandma, etc. Any activity that your family enjoys, even if it's as simple as reading stories on the couch.
For example, do you wake up and have coffee? Does one person usually make the coffee? What's a whole day in your world look like?
You probably chose to book a session with me after seeing someone else's session shared online. Would you like to continue to inspire other families I may work with in the future and share your session in my online-portfolio? *
About Mom and Dad
It's important to create an image that represents who you are as a couple during our session. For example, you could describe little things you love about one another, things you may do when the kids are around (like steal a kiss as you are walking by), or enjoy some quiet time and conversation on your patio once the kids are asleep.)
Questions for Kids
If your kids are old enough to answer, I'd love to know their thoughts!
If applicable.
